BIO
Erik Sabin has observed and experienced art as formative, transformative, inspirational, therapeutic, evolutionary, revolutionary, and just plain fun. Though an admirer of art in all forms, he is primarily a practitioner of painting, illustration, sculpture, music, and writing (currently publishing under a pen name). Despite this admiration, and despite practicing art from a very young age, Sabin did not pursue art as a profession, choosing instead to make an impact through the earth and social sciences. His B.S. in environmental engineering from California Polytechnic University and Master's in sustainability from Harvard University have supported his work in the environmental and non-profit sectors. The highlight of his career has been advancing community solar projects in various countries in Africa. Coming to terms with the current global ecological crisis, Sabin has returned to art as his medium of choice to effect positive change.
